the BAD-files (vol. 4)
I don't believe it! Seriously... I'm having breathing problems here...
The day after I updated these pages with the inclusion of the BAD-files vol 3. (a week after I
received it, and waiting for this server to get fixed), I'm sitting here listening to the next
disc. The PR#1 gang has done it again!
This time the disc is filled with BAD II music, nothing from the first line up at all. A shame
some might say, but it really doesn't matter at all. Not as long as the track list is as stunning
as this.
The unreleased track this time is "Mirror Man", a song that we "all" know, and I personally
would've liked to see on an official release. part from that there are some really good mixes and
odd versions here. The two solo efforts from Mick, "No Ennio" and "Long Island" has also found
it's way onto this disc together with the full lenght version of "City Lights". Nice!
However, the most stunning track is the ska mix of "Vitamin C" (You were right Prof!). the first
time I heard it I didn't know what to think. The second time around, I was still dazzled by this
weird mix. And now after listening to it for God-knows how many times, I'm starting to like it.
It's this disc's surprise, at least it was to me! And now, I'm just humming along and singing
Gimme `nother hit of Vitamin C - Gimme `nother hit of Vitamin C....
The artwork is still top quality. The master counterfeiter from Caledonia hasn't lost his touch.
The only difference is the picture and the colour......
The sound is awsome... heard it all before? Well it's true you know!
